Attorney Gerald (Trey) Fankhauser joins the firm as a practicing attorney after serving as a legal intern and law clerk since 2013 under the direction of Attorney Brian M. Smith. Trey is a 2014 Alumnus of Wabash College where he earned a Bachelor's Degree in Economics and was a four-year letterman on the Wabash College Little Giants baseball team. After graduating from Wabash, Attorney Fankhauser attended law school at the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law in Indianapolis, Indiana, receiving his Juris Doctorate Degree in May of 2017. In addition to receiving his JD, Trey earned a Certificate specializing in Corporate and Commercial Law.

Trey is also an active member of the community. He serves as a board member of the Lake Court House Foundation and of Southshore Skipping Stones. Attorney Fankhauser is also entering his fourth season as a Crown Point High School varsity football coach. In addition to practicing law, Trey is a licensed mortgage loan officer (NMLS #1620286) for Fairway Independent Mortgage Corporation. Trey lives  in Crown Point with his wife, Kylie, who is a licensed elementary school teacher.
